around a vine | angers autour d'un cep is located in the city center of angers, between the banks of the maine river and saint-maurice cathedral. this address is steeped in history, with its 15th/16th-century walls offering an authentic setting. since taking over the restaurant in 2020, i have been committed to serving you authentic and thoughtfully sourced cuisine from anjou. this has led me to meet local producers, artisans, and merchants who work with ethical and environmentally conscious practices. i offer a bistro-style menu at lunchtime and a tasting menu in the evenings, which is offered blind. as for the wine cellar, my sommelier and i carefully select winemakers who prioritize respect for people and the land. their wines are produced using organic, biodynamic, or natural farming methods. the team welcomes you from monday to friday for lunch and dinner. topette! thony poh
