Love food, love life
A few years back you’d have been more likely to find me thrashing out a case in court than chopping up ingredients in the kitchen! In 2010, having been an Employment Law Solicitor for over 10 years, I decided to steer my professional life in a totally different direction and make my love of cooking into a career.
Fast forward a few years and now fully established in and around Newmarket, Suffolk, my award-winning jams, marmalades and chutneys remain the best sellers throughout local markets, fairs and restaurants.
I have a great relationship with local suppliers and always source my ingredients from these fantastic places whenever possible. I love strong seasonal ingredients and as well as traditional style products, I like experimenting with unusual flavours to produce foods you rarely find in the shops such as Seville Orange and Brandy Marmalade or Sloe Gin and Juniper Jelly.
In 2020 I added flavoured Gins and Vodkas to my product list. With the exception of my Parma Violet Gin (which is definitely not natural - but was made at a request from a friend), all of the alcoholic beverages are made balancing fruit, sugar and alcohol to enhance the flavour and give a smooth finish.
I also make a whole range of hampers, especially around Christmas time, as well as Christmas Puddings & Cakes, both traditional and Gluten Free.
