We are not just any pub – we don't have a stick in our asses, but celebrate with you!
The Schmalzstulle was launched in 1995 and, with its almost thirty years of existence, is a well-known address in Glienicke. A few years after the company was founded, in 2003, Marko Stanelle joined the team and started working at the counter. In 2006 there was a change of ownership, although Marko continued to serve the beers and cocktails. A little later, in 2015, Marc started working in the lard sandwich.
In the meantime, Marko and Marc are now continuing to run the lard sandwich after the predecessor retired in 2023. They make it possible for the people of Glienick to continue to drink in their usual restaurant! See for yourself and visit the three of them for a good beer and a lard sandwich in their smoker's pub "Zur Schmalzstulle by M&M" in the north of Berlin!
